Requirements

• Requires long periods of standing (up to 10 hours/day).
• Must be able to operate overhead cranes.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Requires good eye, hand coordination.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent Certificate

Responsibilities

• Safety is our first priority. Employee must be able to operate equipment safely and follow all established Safety Policies and Procedures.
• All parts processed must meet the highest quality standards.
• Part mark parts using an etching tool, dot-matrix machine, or laser engraving machine.
• Deburr parts to meet drawing requirements and quality standards using hand-held grinders or pneumatic pencils with carbide cutting tools or abrasive polishing/grinding wheels.
• Perform polishing operations using hand-held pneumatic tools or pedestal mounted polishing wheels.
• Perform honing, tumbling, and sandblasting operations using the appropriate machinery.
• Perform gluing operations by hand.
• Must be a reliable employee that can work with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to communicate and work within a team environment.
• Must have basic computer literacy to operate job tracking software.
• Must be able to use hand tools, including wrenches, files, sanders, grinders, etc.
• Must keep assigned machine(s), equipment, and work area cleaned and neat.

• It is every employee’s responsibility to communicate opportunities for improvement of processes to reduce set-up and run-time standards when possible.
