Job Summary The Burrer Precision is responsible for the set-up and operation of deburring tools and performs methods of inspecting parts to assure conformance to blueprint specifications and manufacturing operator’s instructions.

Requirements

  • 0+ years of experience in working with scopes for precision burring of internal holes and cross sections
  • Knowledge of rotary and manual burring tools
  • Knowledge of tooling proficient to allow altering if required
  • Knowledge of various inspection equipment and methods of inspection
  • Knowledge of deburring tools for different machines
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to use alternate tooling or work holding devices if required
  • Creativity, initiative and the ability to work independently
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Responsibilities

  • Set up, tear down, and manipulate rotary and manual hand tools utilizing corresponding documentation
  • Inspect parts to blueprint specifications
  • Notify Team Leader or Supervisor of problems encountered in performing these tasks
  • Understand deburring processes in using right tools towards making parts to blueprint specifications
  • Maintain and adhere to standard safety protocols and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
  • Continuous improvement activities to improve processes in burring cycle
