St. Catherine University is seeking an innovative leader to serve as the inaugural Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Business, and Leadership. This is a unique opportunity to shape a newly integrated school that combines graduate, baccalaureate, and associate programs previously part of the School of Business and the School of Humanities, Arts, and Sciences. The Dean will provide inspiring leadership, establish a compelling vision, and foster collaboration across disciplines to prepare graduates to lead and influence in a complex, evolving world. As a member of the academic leadership team, the Dean will serve on the Provost's Council and work closely with the Provost and other academic leaders to strengthen collaboration, promote shared governance, and implement consistent academic strategies and policies. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible, no later than June 2026. The Dean functions as the strategic leader and champion for the School of Liberal Arts, Business, and Leadership with primary responsibility for all curricular and co-curricular programs, staff, and faculty in the school. To foster the success of our academic programs and our students, the dean will ensure the quality of our programs, strengthen and expand external relationships, mentor and support faculty and staff, and ensure an outstanding student experience. As the champion for rigorous and relevant academic programs in the new school, the Dean provides oversight for the wide array of academic programs at the graduate, associate's, and bachelor's levels, as well as the Core Curriculum for undergraduates. The Dean will also generate new resources through fundraising and grants and effectively manage the overall budget of the school to achieve the best outcomes for our students. This leader's success will come from building on the strengths of an outstanding faculty deeply committed to the mission of the institution and to the success of our diverse student body.
