The Deal Strategy Manager role is a Tier 1 approver for Oracle Health, overseeing deals that encompass Software License, Cloud, and Hardware sales. This position serves as a trusted advisor to Sales Management, collaborating closely with Sales to structure transactions and guide them through the internal deal process to successful closure. The Approver is authorized to approve transactions on behalf of Oracle Health Senior Sales Management, aligning with strategic directives. A key aspect of the role involves providing ongoing training to Sales teams on internal deal management and Oracle Policy. Additionally, the role includes customer-facing activities, where the manager assists sales in clarifying Oracle’s agreements, policies, and practices to clients. Team members in this role are expected to manage a high volume of activity and handle multiple transactions concurrently. Responsibilities

  • Act as a Tier 1 approver for Oracle Health for deals that may include Software License, Cloud and Hardware sales.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales Management.
  • Work closely with Sales to structure transactions.
  • Coach Sales through each step of the internal deal process through deal closure.
  • Approve transactions on behalf of Oracle Health Senior Sales Management based on strategic direction.
  • Provide on-going training for Sales in the areas of internal deal management and Oracle Policy.
  • Assist sales in explaining Oracle’s agreements, policies and practices to customers.
  • Work with high volume activity and on multiple transactions concurrently.
