About The Position

Summary of Job Emphasis for this position will consist of Analyzing, engaging, communicating, and coordinating daily activities with all Department Clerks, Customer Service, Buyers, Accounting, and external customers to ensure all shifts are running the same processes in Receiving Raw Materials and Inbound FG trailers from USA-MEX plants. To include but not limited in coordinating and managing all Importing and distribution of Raw Materials and FG to the corresponding manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

  • College or High School Diploma
  • General Knowledge of Warehouse Receiving procedures and documents
  • Systems experience such as SAP, EAM, etc. a plus but not required
  • Basic mathematics
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel )
  • Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
  • Ability to handle people under high-stress situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly.
  • Positive and pro-active leadership characteristics
  • Driven work ethic
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse shipping / Receiving department
  • Clerical experience working in an office environment
  • Good math and problem-solving
  • Computer literate and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs
  • Advanced understanding of BANN
  • Advanced understanding of inventory management
  • Principles and practices of inventory management/control and work safety.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem analysis and resolution

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Manage training for all Clerks in the receiving office for Raw Materials to ensure processes are followed and done the same way on all shifts.
  • Analyzing and understanding different packing list from all vendors to ensure all items are received correctly in the system based on Weight, LBS, Kilos, and impressions depending on the product being delivered.
  • Manage all incoming Raw Materials to ensure operators are filling out correct documents, Printing receiving labels for each pallet and moving inventory to correct locations as required.
  • Manage all clerks to ensure all receiving materials are received on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate Raw Material Inventory movements with corresponding Manufacturing facilities in Juarez and manage Importations to deliver all shortage request.
  • Daily communication with Traffic, and Aduanas Mexico, to arrange pick up on daily Importations requested.
  • Manage all Inbound FG - US/MEX trailers with Receiving Clerk to ensure offloading is meeting the 2hr KPI.
  • Coordinate all daily activities with all forklift drivers to achieve on time offloading and loading.
  • Investigate and research documentation to analyze root cause of wrong data entry errors and correct on a timely basis.
  • Participate in new projects and implementation processes
