About The Position

DBT IOP Therapist (Independently/Fully Licensed and Associate Level) Who Are We? We hope you'll join our team of amazing therapists! Depending on your experience your salary would be $58,500 - $72,060 (with an increase for groups, language skills, and having an SUDP/T). This is a temporary position from 2/2/26 - 6/30/26. The schedule is Monday-Friday, working in-person until 7pm group-days (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), and in-person at least one other non-group day. Therefore, all our therapists see some or all their clients in the community. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
  • Counselor with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH).
  • Full or Associate licensure in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy is appropriate.
  • Acceptance and ability to work with individuals and families with a variety of lifestyles, behaviors, cultural and spiritual practices with the ability to apply a social justice and equity lens to all aspects of this work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive therapeutic support services assisting children, youth, and families cope with complex behavior and mental health needs utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Develop initial psychosocial assessments, problems lists, and treatment plans
  • Provide required case management services and inter-agency collaboration
  • Provide 24 hour crisis services to clients
  • Running our DBT IOP groups
