About The Position

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist works in an intensive outpatient program practicing dialectical behavior therapy and serving suicidal youth and their families. Primary duties include leading group therapy, risk assessment, crisis intervention, evaluation, individual and family therapy, and supervision of students in training.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) years of post-graduate school mental health experience working with children and families.
Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work from an accredited school of Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work.
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy (LMFT) – CA or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - CA.
Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
Provide leadership

Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years or more of post-graduate school mental health experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting.
Previous LPS designation.
Experience with Department of Mental Health documentation.
Bilingual.
