About The Position

Mary Lee Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing diverse services and housing to adults with various types of disabilities. The Daybreak Receptionist works under the supervision of Daybreak Supervisor providing assistance as needed, and serves as the face of Daybreak(Dayhab Facility) to incoming guests. This person performs a variety of tasks supporting Mary Lee Foundation functions such as greeting and assisting visitors, clerical tasks, and keeping the Daybreak front area looking tidy. This role adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards of protocol of the Mary Lee Foundation and applicable outside agencies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to handle client interactions and professional correspondence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage last-minute changes efficiently.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant in a corporate environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and approachable demeanor to create a positive first impression.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer software and office equipment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Providing excellent customer service and handling inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting Visitors/Volunteers/Contractors: Welcoming and directing visitors to the appropriate individuals or areas.
  • Checking In/Out Visitors/Volunteers as their arrive or depart MLF Daybreak Facility
  • Checking in and out of clients: Welcoming clients as they arrive or depart MLF Daybreak
  • Administrative Tasks: Performing various administrative tasks like filing, answering phone, photocopying, faxing, and data entry.
  • Maintaining the Reception Area: Keeping the entry area clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to all visitors and callers.
  • Security: Controlling access to the Dayhab building and maintaining security protocols.
  • Communication: Providing clear and concise information to both internal and external contacts.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support to staff and clients.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth Dayhab operations.
