About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plant equipment and machinery Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance Support senior mechanics in daily operations and emergency repairs Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of tools and mechanical systems
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
Responsibilities
- Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plant equipment and machinery
- Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Support senior mechanics in daily operations and emergency repairs
