About The Position

IS Living aims to develop and provide integrated services which empower those we serve to live happy, fulfilling lives. The Steve Dent Day Services Program has been developed to support persons experiencing disability and isolation to attain and maintain self-selected, valued community roles which reflect their interests, talents, preferences, gifts, and allow them the full decision-making ability in their life, connections, and expressions. The Day Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our day services program, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support. This role requires a strong leader who is passionate about improving the lives of individuals and who can manage a team of professionals effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing services within the healthcare or social services sector.
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or access to an insured vehicle.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet organizational insurance eligibility standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in Day Services programs.
  • Ability to manage budgets and oversee financial resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and implementation of Day Services programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Participate in ISP meetings and collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team.
  • Help develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Follow and uphold written ISP goals and behavioral/support protocols.
  • Complete training to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Support individuals in achieving meaningful personal outcomes.
  • Manage and support a team of staff members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and external agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
  • Coordinate staff training and development opportunities to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Handle any emergencies or incidents according to company protocols, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
