Day Services DSP - Clifton Park
About The Position
Saratoga Bridges is looking for a caring person that enjoys helping others at our Day Services location in Clifton Park. This is a Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends position. You will work with great colleagues. You may spend your time helping people with arts activities, games, or volunteering in the community. If you have no experience working with people with developmental disabilities, we will provide you with paid training. The payrate for this position is $19.00 per hour. We have career path options for those who want to make this their long–term career. Tuition reimbursement to help you complete your degree is available after 6 months of full-time employment. We have great health insurance, vacation, holiday and sick time benefits. If you are new to the field, we will provide paid training to get your career started. Opportunities to pick up extra hours are currently available at our homes as well.
Requirements
- Great at working in a team
- Caring & ensuring that the people you work with are safe
- Available to work 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Driver's license
Responsibilities
- Run & document daily goals for the people you are working with
- Assist in activities going on during the day
- Volunteering at Meals on Wheels, the library, or the local fire house volunteering
