About The Position
We are seeking a Database Engineer to design implement and optimize data storage and retrieval aligned with enterprise architecture. You will translate requirements into schemas data flows and robust parsers and loaders that support mission analytics.
Requirements
- Ten years of database engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity
- Bachelor degree in a technical discipline or five additional years of database engineering experience in lieu of degree
- DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II compliance and two years of PostgreSQL experience
- Proven ability to translate requirements into robust schemas queries and data flows
- All applicants must be United States citizens.
- All roles are on site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland and require an active TS/SCI with a current Full Scope Polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement relational and object oriented databases parsers and loaders
- Define long range database requirements and trade space for volume users distribution response time and security
- Lead schema design queries scripts and connectivity including cloud storage and retrieval methods
- Coordinate with database administrators on architecture and performance optimization
