The Database Architect will serve as a technical advisor supporting the agency’s initiative with preparation to modernize to a new case management system. This role requires a data architect to work with technology and program divisions to assist with data architecture and solution design for transition to the new case management system. The worker will collaborate with Family & Protective Services technology, data, and program teams to support the review of processes, policies, and practice. The Database Architect will design, develop, and maintain complex data models that support child welfare data initiatives, requiring expertise in data modeling, database design, and data governance to ensure accurate and efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing. This position will work with cross-functional teams and external vendors to logically model the flow of data between agency systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in child welfare government data systems, working with relational and non-relational databases, and implementing best practices in data architecture. All activities must align with the company's compliance, federal and state regulations, and its goal of providing uninterrupted services to children and families. Data architecture and management services are essential for data designing, modeling, and cleansing efforts for the new system.
