The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Conservation Engagement and Education group is seeking a self-motivated, outgoing, outcome-oriented individual to support an education team in a full-time OPS position as the CEE Database and Website Manager. This role involves serving as the administrator of the CEE customer relationship management system (CRM), which houses data on Youth Conservation Center Camps and Programming, the Partnership Program, Project WILD, and overall FWC Outreach and Education Event Attendance. The selected candidate will also handle website content processes, guide, support, and train staff on technology-based tools, systems, and workflows, and conduct special projects like social media management and ADA publication compliance. This position is crucial for supporting CEE’s mission by managing data, streamlining digital tools, training staff on various technologies, and ensuring smooth operations across programs through uniform procedures. It is ideal for someone who is education-focused, systems-minded, enjoys organizing information, improving processes, and effectively supporting staff and partners. The FWC seeks a creative and self-motivated individual to assist with problem-solving, organization, and communication to support and enhance how the CEE tracks participation, partnerships, and program impact.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in project or operational management, including procedural development, program planning, data processing, data management, systems analysis, management analysis, or administrative work experience
  • College education from an accredited institution can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of the required work experience
  • Vocational/technical training in the area of data management, office/business, or paraprofessional studies can substitute at the rate of 720 classroom hours for each year of the required work experience
  • Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory criminal history check (fingerprint-based) in accordance with Chapter 435, Florida Statutes
  • Valid US Driver’s License
  • Competent to expert experience with database management via a customer relationship management system, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with QA/QC processes
  • Experience with creating data-related graphics, such as tables and charts
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences of varying proficiency levels
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with people having varied backgrounds, knowledge, and system requirements

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the administrator of the CEE’s CRM system in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Organize, analyze, and track data related to summer camps, conservation programs, volunteer participation, Project WILD, partnerships, and agencywide event attendance
  • Collect, review, and organize sales data from a payment processing system and CRM to generate reports on sales trends
  • Develop and update data visualization reports to support decision-making and annual and grant reporting
  • Monitor data dashboards to identify potential issues, troubleshoot errors, and support data accuracy
  • Assist external CRM users in registering for events on a public-facing webpage, including troubleshooting registration issues
  • Train and support internal CRM users on techniques and best management practices
  • Assess CRM needs based on feedback from staff, stakeholders, and leadership, and recommend improvements
  • Identify and communicate errors and enhancement requests to CRM developers, ensuring staff needs are clearly documented
  • Maintain and improve data integrity by identifying and correcting data issues, while proactively training and guiding non-technical staff on best practices to prevent recurring errors
  • Create and maintain instructional guides and training materials to help staff navigate and effectively use relevant technologies
  • Oversee relevant website update processes (MyFWC.com and FYCCN.org) to ensure content remains relevant, engaging, and user-friendly
  • Ensure compliance with data security and system requirements
  • Work independently on special projects and/or assist in directing and completing special projects or other activities as needed by the supervisor
  • Manage files across multiple storage platforms, such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, to ensure proper organization, accessibility, and security
  • Ensure all assigned work aligns with the principles of the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with CEE team (primarily educators) and with FWC Office of Information Technology staff
  • Perform tasks with the CEE and FWC conservation and engagement missions in mind
  • Utilize graphic design skills to create engaging outreach materials, social media content, and webpage items that are ADA compliant, where applicable
  • Performing other work as needed
