Data Technology Specialist

Endeavor Business Media

About The Position

EndeavorB2B is a rapidly growing US-based B2B media and events company founded in 2017. Its mission is to deliver high-quality content in various multi-channel formats to the B2B markets it serves, providing professionals with opportunities to stay knowledgeable and connect with colleagues. The company places high importance on data-driven core values such as accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and passion for value creation, fostering an environment with minimal politics, clear direction, high productivity, and low turnover. Departments operate with autonomy and meritocracy, offering opportunities for growth and development. The Data Technology Specialist is a hands-on execution role responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining the components that power Personif.ai marketing programs. This involves creating emails, promotional links, popups, and content placements based on specifications from the Data Strategy team. The role requires working across multiple platforms to ensure every campaign component is built accurately, launched on time, and performs as expected. The specialist will work closely with the Data Technology Manager and team members to maintain execution quality across a high volume of active programs.

Requirements

  • Detail orientation and accuracy
  • Task management and follow-through
  • Comfortable learning new platforms
  • Clear communicator and self-starter
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field preferred, or comparable professional experience that demonstrates the skills above.
  • Some exposure to email marketing, content management, or marketing technology in a professional, internship, or academic setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage detail-heavy work accurately across multiple simultaneous tasks, whether in marketing, operations, project coordination or another field where precision matters.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with email marketing concepts, email templates, audience targeting, send scheduling, and delivery basics.
  • Experience working in a CMS; uploading content, managing pages, basic publishing workflows
  • Basic HTML literacy, enough to identify a broken link in source code or troubleshoot formatting issues, not build a website from scratch
  • Experience with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, etc.)
  • Exposure to audience data or customer data platforms (BlueConic, Omeda, Marketo, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Build and configure email campaigns based on specifications from the Client Strategy team, including template setup, content population, subject lines, sender information, and audience targeting.
  • Create and test promotional links and tracking URLs, ensuring proper attribution and destination accuracy before campaigns go live.
  • Configure popups and on-site overlay placements according to campaign specifications, including targeting rules, display triggers, and creative assets.
  • Upload and publish campaign content to the CMS, ensuring correct formatting, placement, and linking.
  • Pull and prepare audience segments from the customer data platform based on targeting criteria provided in campaign specifications.
  • Execute pre-launch QA checklists for every campaign component—verifying links, audience lists, creative assets, send times, and configuration settings before anything goes live.
  • Send test emails and review rendering across platforms, flagging formatting issues, broken links, or content errors for correction.
  • Escalate issues, errors, or ambiguities in campaign specifications early, before they become client-facing problems.
  • Implement approved updates to active programs, including copy swaps, creative replacements, cadence changes, audience adjustments, and popup modifications.
  • Monitor active campaigns for delivery issues, data discrepancies, or performance anomalies and flag them to the Program Delivery Lead.
  • Track task status and deadlines in Monday.com, keeping project boards updated so the team has clear visibility into what’s active, what’s pending, and what’s complete.
  • Validate that campaign data is populating correctly in reporting dashboards after launch—checking delivery counts, engagement metrics, and audience data for accuracy.
  • Flag data discrepancies or reporting gaps to the Program Delivery Lead with enough context to enable quick diagnosis (what’s wrong, where you found it, what you’ve already checked).
  • Follow and contribute to operational documentation—SOPs, checklists, and build guides—that ensure consistency and reduce errors across the team.
  • Document execution steps for new or non-standard campaign setups so that work can be repeated or handed off without loss of quality.
