As a Technology Specialist on the IT Support Services team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to computer system users. In this role, you will also serve as a resource for Associate Technology Specialists. Your duties will include answering user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, reading technical manuals, conferring with users, or conducting computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. You will also be responsible for referring major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service, entering commands and observing system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors, and installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
