Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated contract Data Specialist to join our Shared Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and applying advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems. You will join a dynamic team within the Customer Excellence organization, focused on leveraging data across Billing, Collections, and Care functions to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in Data Science or Analytics: Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models while working with large datasets and data warehousing environments.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) for data extraction and programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Data Visualization Expertise: Strong knowledge of industry-standard visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate complex insights.
  • Relevant Educational Background: A degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy advanced analytical models: Develop statistical and machine learning models for predictive analytics, forecasting, and optimization to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders: Partner with teams across the organization to translate complex business needs into data-driven solutions and communicate findings through compelling visualizations.
  • Ensure data integrity and process excellence: Implement data quality validation procedures and identify opportunities to optimize organizational processes through rigorous data analysis.
