About The Position

You are the go-to expert for navigating enterprise ERP data, especially SAP. You understand the hidden logic in tables like VBAK, VBAP, MARA, MD04, and how they map to actual supply chain, sales, and manufacturing processes. You know what planners, procurement teams, and finance teams are actually doing when data gets written to the system — and you can help us extract the truth from the noise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master's degree or PhD in Technology or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience working with ERP systems, with strong hands-on SAP experience
  • Deep hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA as a data engineer, integration architect, or systems analyst
  • Experience supporting or mapping data across systems such other ERP systems such as: Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Infor (M3, LN), Epicor or other manufacturing ERP systems
  • Strong SQL and data modeling experience — not just business process knowledge
  • Comfort working with data engineers, writing specifications, and validating outputs
  • Experience with SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or HR (one or more)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes
  • Understanding of enterprise data flows and system integrations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding of cloud services: compute, storage, accelerated computing.
  • Experience with AI platforms, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Cloud AI.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA environments
  • Familiarity with SAP data tools (e.g., SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SLT)
  • Experience with data warehousing or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Knowledge of master data domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance)
  • Experience with data governance frameworks or compliance requirements
  • Experience with ERP data migrations or large-scale system implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field
  • experience with SAP connectors, IDOCs, BAPIs, OData services, or third-party data extraction tools

Responsibilities

  • Act as Keystone.ai’s expert on SAP and ERP data structures
  • Define mapping logic between raw ERP tables and our scientific data model
  • Partner with product and data engineers to build ingestion templates and transformation logic
  • Create schema reference guides, field usage dictionaries, and normalization logic for systems like SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and others
  • Ensure that our platform supports customer-specific schema variants, while retaining system-level generality
