Data Scientist/Reporting Metrics Analyst
About The Position
Rohadfox Construction Management is seeking an individual to join a highly dynamic Team as part of the Program Consultant Management (PMC) for our Client's P3 Division portfolio of Projects, a multi-billion dollar Program. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience and be diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive with a calm disposition. The pay range starts at $80k annual and up DOE. Job Summary: Responsible for creating and maintaining business intelligence solutions that turn data into knowledge. Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying BI tools and reports, as well as collaborating with other teams to integrate systems and data sources. Should have a background in data and business analysis, as well as experience with BI technologies, data warehouse design and also have strong SQL skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving aptitude.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field and 3 years of related experience, or
- Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field and 2 years of related experience
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for data manipulation and automation
- Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Experience with software design and architecture
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Responsibilities
- Designs, builds and deploys BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools).
- Creates tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes).
- Utilizes ETL to improve business intelligence and analytics.
- Maintains and supports data analytics platforms (e.g. PowerBI).
- Evaluates and improves existing BI systems.
- Collaborates with teams to integrate systems.
- Develops and executes database queries and conduct analyses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
