Internships provide on-the-job training for students in their field of study. Internships can be part-time or full-time and take place over the summer or during the school year. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support the development and evaluation of analytical models (e.g., forecasting, classification, segmentation) Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and data quality checks on large datasets Assist with building and validating statistical or machine learning models Write clean, well-documented code in Python and/or SQL Help translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations Contribute to dashboards, reports, or analytical summaries for stakeholders Participate in project planning, code reviews, and team discussions Required Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field Strong foundation in statistics and data analysis Experience with Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and/or SQL Ability to work with messy, real-world data Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with machine learning techniques or predictive modeling Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS, GCP) Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Exposure to version control (Git) Prior internship or project experience applying data science to business problems Other: Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise.
