About The Position

The Data Quality Specialist will support key initiatives within the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Olmstead sections, including programs such as Inclusion Connects and Inclusion Works. This role combines data analysis, visualization, and reporting with meaningful collaboration across divisions and stakeholder groups. The position plays an important part in generating actionable insights that guide program strategy, improve services, and support the Division's commitment to community inclusion and quality outcomes. The IDD, TBI, & Olmstead section within DMHDDSUS is a team of dedicated and passionate professionals who value transparency, collaboration, and innovation across services and programs. We listen closely to our stakeholders and use good data to develop and improve those services and programs to support people with disabilities to live the life they choose.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relative to the program area from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP
  • Demonstrated experience in data visualization, data analysis, and developing data-focused reports
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support program staff and stakeholders to collect, understand, and use data effectively
  • Coordinate and support data collection across divisions and stakeholder groups
  • Thorough data cleaning and analysis
  • Develop reports for stakeholders with accurate and accessible data-driven narratives
  • Manage and update project-specific PowerBI dashboards
  • Support continuous quality improvement initiatives
