About The Position

Data Processing Specialists are responsible for the data integrity and documentation of deposit accounts. They perform maintenance on all deposit accounts and safe deposit boxes as requests are submitted by a location’s Personal Bankers. Imaged documents for these same modules are reviewed for accuracy as part of the 2nd day review process to ensure accurate and complete documentation as required by regulation. They utilize tracking software to assist in monitoring of identified exceptions.

Requirements

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet our customer's needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including calculator, copy machine and telephone system.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months previous banking experience.
  • Minimum 1 year experience computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the location listed below (4845 US Hwy 271 N, Ste 1S Pittsburg, Texas 75686).

Nice To Haves

  • Personal banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow the standardized procedures and policies of the maintenance and second-day-review duties
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of bank products, services, department procedures and policies
  • Handle problem recognition, research, resolution and follow-up for routine inconsistencies between branch documents, system information and standardized procedures.
  • Document and retain daily work following the record retention requirements of the department.
  • Answer phone calls and provide customer service as needed
  • Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection
  • Complying with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures
  • Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management
