About The Position

Leads the daily operations of major data projects, including the technical team, prioritizing assignments and managing resource allocation to ensure timely completion of milestones. Facilitate regular meetings and maintain clear communication channels between technical personnel and program leadership to ensure shared understanding of priorities. Completes reports to all stakeholders. Defines and plans strategic project goals for the UFDI, translating high-level requirements into actionable tasks for the programming and data teams. Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external partners. Ensure all team activities align with University of Florida policies, security standards, and state regulatory requirements. Identify potential bottlenecks or risks in technical workflows and coordinate the necessary resources to resolve impediments to project progress.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated strong communication, leadership, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with statistics commonly applied in bioinformatic, biostatistical, and biomedical research.
  • Familiarity with serological screening programs is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Trello, Asana, etc.) and experience using data collection platforms like REDCap is beneficial.
