About The Position

Trissential is partnering with their client on a major Customer Core Transformation Program, seeking a Data Governance / Data Architect to influence how customer data is defined, governed, and leveraged across an entire enterprise. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in transformation programs, enjoy bringing clarity to complex data environments, and want to make a meaningful impact on large-scale modernization work. The position offers the opportunity to shape the future of customer data by playing a key role in building customer data domains, governance models, and data architecture during the organization's transition to SAP. It provides enterprise-level influence through collaboration with senior leaders, enterprise data teams, and System Integrator (SI) partners in a multi-year modernization effort. The role involves cross-functional collaboration at the intersection of business, technology, data governance, and analytics, offering career-growing experience within a transformation initiative that will elevate data governance, SAP, and architecture expertise.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in data architecture, data governance, data warehouse environments, or reporting/analytics ecosystems.
• Hands-on experience establishing or supporting data governance frameworks.
• Experience working within large enterprise programs or transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Comfort operating in evolving, multi-team, complex environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting SAP transformations, especially SAP IS-U or other utility-related modules.
• Background in the utilities or energy industry.
• Experience defining data domains, data standards, or data stewardship models.
• Familiarity with reporting ecosystems and data warehousing platforms.
• Knowledge of Signavio, Jira, or similar process and requirements tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement customer data governance practices aligned with enterprise policies.
• Partner with SAP implementation teams during blueprinting and design phases to define customer data elements, data structures, and control mechanisms.
• Ensure data architecture supports operational reporting and enterprise analytics needs.
• Identify and document data ownership, stewardship, and governance workflows.
• Work closely with program tower leads, enterprise data governance, system integrators, and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment between business requirements and data architecture solutions.
• Capture governance processes, definitions, and requirements using Jira and Signavio.
