About The Position

april is looking for two temporary Data Entry Specialists to support a critical pilot program for one of our partnerships. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing forms through our secure submission system. This hands-on role involves managing sensitive taxpayer information with precision and care, ensuring accurate data entry and timely submission to the IRS portal. You'll work independently while maintaining the highest standards of data security and confidentiality. This is a 5-week contract position based in our NYC office, working Tuesday through Thursday during our in-office days.

Requirements

• Proficient with Mac computers and basic computer skills
• Comfortable using Google Sheets and web-based systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks
• Reliable, responsible, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Available for on-site work at NYC headquarters from March 3rd to April 14th, 2026, Tuesdays through Thursdays, approximately 8 hours per day, with all work to be completed in-office rather than remotely

Responsibilities

• Process transcript request forms by logging into the system, downloading PDFs, entering data accurately, and uploading to the IRS portal
• Handle sensitive information including Social Security Numbers with strict adherence to security protocols
• Maintain consistent data quality and accuracy across all submissions
• Work efficiently through high-volume document processing tasks
• Collaborate with the team to track progress and flag any issues
• Follow established procedures and workflows for document submission
