Position Summary: Performs clerical and technical support services in Accounting Department. Essential Functions of the Job: Date stamps and distributes all incoming mail, maintain accurate records on a daily basis. Scanning of Accounts Payable Records and organization of digital filing system. Ensures AP invoices and mileage reimbursement forms are coded to appropriate site and department. Process AP invoice batches for data entry in Great Plains. Verifies entries by comparing system reports to balance. Ensures invoices are approved by appropriate supervisor/management. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in current educational programs, service meetings and workshops. Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as directed. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Job Requirements: Education Required (Min. level of education): High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Certifications/Licenses Required: None. Experience Required (Min. level of experience): 6+ months of clerical experience. Accounts Payable experience preferred or Accounts Payable Knowledge Verbal and Written Skills Required to Perform the Job: Good oral and written communication Technical Knowledge and Skills Required to Perform the Job: Computer literate Basic Excel & Word knowledge and strong organizational and math skills. Equipment Used (Computers, phones, vehicles, etc.): Personal computer and 10 key. Working Conditions & Physical Req. (Sitting/Standing/Walking/Lifting): Lifting of no more than 15 lbs. May be required to work evenings and/or weekends occasionally.
