About The Position

Incumbent performs a full range of clerical services and data entry to support Center Based Family Advocates. Incumbent reports to the PFCE Manager under the direction of the Director of Early Childhood & Family Services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Social Services Case Manager or Family Advocate position or related field.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education will be accepted.
  • Ability to type 55 words per minute.
  • Detail oriented with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply general office organization and administration skills.
  • Ability to utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review Easy Trak Data Entry and documentation for Family Advocates in assigned centers.
  • Submit completed Family Advocate Support Report each week.
  • Assist with Quality File Reviews and One-file Folder Monitoring.
  • Mentor and Coach Family Advocate on Quality Documentation/Data Entry.
  • Prepare program information, input data, copies, files, fax, etc.
  • Provide clerical support, data entry, and tracking of program requirements.
  • Establish and facilitate the implementation of a filing and record keeping system for Family Advocates.
  • Work with Center Managers to develop a weekly support schedule/calendar for each center in ESP Central.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and facilitate corrections of discrepancies in filing and record keeping system.
  • Maintain a binder or electronic file with a copy of internal/external written correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Dept. of Early Childhood & Family Services
