Refugee Resettlement assists in helping create a home-away-from-home, we assist government-approved refugees in becoming self-sufficient through cultural orientation, job development, family reunification and resettlement. The Data Entry Clerk will be maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records within the Refugee Resettlement Program. This position ensures that all information entered into relevant systems aligns with official documentation provided by clients. The Data Entry Clerk also involves document scanning, assisting clients in completing program-required forms, and supporting case management accuracy across platforms such as Client Track, E-Red, Point of Comfort, and the Refugee Management Solutions database.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • One (1) year experience of data entry, administrative, or clerical experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in using database systems.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update client data in multiple systems, including Client Track, E-Red, Point of Comfort, and Refugee Management Solutions.
  • Verify that data in all systems matches legal documentation submitted by clients (e.g., identification documents, immigration records). Scan and electronically file client documents in the appropriate databases. Make photocopies and assemble document packets as required.
  • Assist clients in completing program-specific documentation, ensuring clarity, completeness, and compliance.
  • Perform regular audits to identify and correct any discrepancies across data systems. Communicate with program staff to resolve discrepancies or incomplete information. Support program staff with additional administrative and clerical tasks as needed. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
