Position Summary The Data Center Field Coordinator supports the commissioning and startup of Data Center control systems. This role includes programming, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting automated control systems while working as part of a project team. You’ll collaborate with customers, contractors, and vendors to ensure systems are installed and operating correctly while building strong relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of industrial controls or data center experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and networking
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies, Engineering, Instrumentation, Controls, or related field
  • Experience with industrial control systems and customer-facing project work
  • Familiarity with commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting processes

Responsibilities

  • Support commissioning and startup of Data Center control systems
  • Program, test, troubleshoot, and document control systems
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate system installation
  • Assist with project scope, requirements, and commissioning plans
  • Install and troubleshoot PLC and network hardware/software
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve equipment issues
  • Capture system data and provide updates on project progress
  • Support control network setup, documentation, and service needs
  • Promote and follow safety standards and maintain customer confidentiality
  • Provide after-hours support as needed
