About The Position

The Data Analyst supports the Finance Department, Data Analytics, Senior Management, and other key stakeholders by developing analytical solutions that drive informed decision‑making and optimize business results. This role supports enterprise‑wide analytics by managing, governing, collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting large and complex data sets. The Data Analyst is a key contributor to highly complex initiatives and cross‑functional project teams and plays a critical role in advancing enterprise analytics and influencing strategic decisions. This position leverages SQL Server databases, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and other platforms to deliver high‑impact insights. This position earns a competitive minimum starting rate of $31 an hour . What you'll do You'll support Finance, Data Analytics, Senior Management, and enterprise stakeholders by developing analytical solutions that drive smarter decisions and stronger business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, finance, statistics, information systems, or related field
  • 3–5 years in an analytical role preferred
  • 3–5 years of business or financial institution experience preferred
  • A self‑starter with a real passion for continuous learning in data/analytics
  • Comfortable juggling priorities and meeting deadlines without losing quality
  • Advanced with SQL, Power BI, and Excel - and eager to keep leveling up
  • Familiar writing queries, views, and stored procedures
  • Strong in data modeling (scoping, designing, implementing)
  • Familiar with ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Confident working with complex data and financial/banking concepts
  • Detail‑oriented (you don't just "build a report," you build one people trust)
  • Great at translating business needs into technical solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Evidence of continuous learning through certificate programs, bootcamps, or a portfolio (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate , DataCamp/Coursera, GitHub portfolio, personal website).

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data models using SQL databases in an on‑premises data warehouse and other data sources
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI , Excel , and other tools
  • Analyze current and historical trends to identify risk, opportunity, and "what's next" insights
  • Serve as a system administrator for key analytics tools (including Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio)
  • Maintain advanced reporting, models, and analytical outputs with high accuracy
  • Partner with stakeholders to source data, produce extracts and targeted lists, and build integrations/pipelines
  • Recommend improvements to data models, reports, and workflows (yes - we want your ideas)
  • Communicate outcomes clearly to management, project leads, and stakeholders
  • Independently manage projects and knock out ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
