About The Position

Position Purpose: A Data Analyst leverages strong technical and analytical abilities to synthesize complex workforce data into clear, actionable, data‑driven insights. This role is responsible for partnering closely with Workforce Management leaders and operational stakeholders to apply established and develop new analytical processes across staffing, scheduling, forecasting, and productivity datasets to support service level and cost objectives. The analyst translates workforce performance trends into easily understood stories that inform decision‑making related to capacity planning, labor efficiency, and customer experience outcomes. They ensure all reporting and analytical responsibilities are delivered accurately and on time, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve data quality, automate reporting, and strengthen analytical methods (e.g. SQL, advanced Excel, visualization tools, machine learning). The position will be responsible for: • Creating and maintaining advanced SQL queries that power dashboards • Creating front end dashboards in tools like Tableau • Ad hoc analytics requests The right candidate for this role will be curious, become an expert on workforce data, be a quick learner who can understand the business and dig deeply into specific experiences, and have strong logic and attention to detail. They will also be experienced with SQL, Tableau and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to convey complex or technical ideas and processes in easy-to-understand terms to diverse audiences
  • 2-3 years work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, auditing, and/or forecasting
  • An intermediary understanding of SQL or working directly with MS Access joining relational tables together and/or some knowledge of one other scripting/compiled/statistical programming language (e.g. VBA, Python, R, SAS, .NET, C++, Java, etc.)
  • Experience building reports/analyses with analytical tools (e.g. Excel, JMP, SAS, Mathematica, SPSS, Tableau, etc.)
  • Prior direct experience in analyzing the relevant subject matter (e.g. Supply Chain, Merchandising, Operations, etc.)
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Finance, or related quantitative field
  • Work experience with MS Excel, MS Access, SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, or comparable database systems

Responsibilities

  • Analytical Findings - Presents findings in easily understood ways, focuses on how the data analytics fits into the bigger picture.
  • Data Analytics Tools - Leverages data analytics tools to create new dashboards, reports, and any additional ad-hoc requests.
  • Reporting Responsibilities - Executes existing reporting and analytical responsibilities.
  • Technical/Subject Matter Development - Develops additional technical competencies and subject matter expertise within core functional group.
  • Work Output - Ensures the quality of work output by displaying a keen attention to detail.
