About The Position

Seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support the development of a platform that presents school system data in a clear, actionable, and user-friendly format. This role focuses on transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights and practical recommendations that help organizations identify areas for growth, establish goals, and improve outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong data storytelling skills, experience building low-code solutions, and expertise in creating dashboards and reporting tools that enable non-technical stakeholders to interpret and act on data effectively.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Data Storytelling.
• 8+ years of experience working with low-code platforms and solutions.
• 5+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, scorecards).
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools, including Power BI.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ year of experience using Qualtrics.
• 1+ year of experience using Smartsheet.
• Experience working with state agencies, the education sector, or related public sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze school system data and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations to help identify priorities, set measurable goals, and improve performance outcomes.
• Develop and maintain low-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Qualtrics, or similar tools) to display key metrics and collect stakeholder input on progress and impact.
• Create interactive dashboards and reporting tools that consolidate data into a centralized, easy-to-understand view.
• Build automated systems (forms, surveys, applications) that collect, organize, and present data efficiently, enabling users to take action without technical expertise.
• Analyze statutory and compliance data across multiple federal and state plans to identify overlaps, redundancies, and opportunities for streamlining requirements.
• Use data-driven insights to recommend approaches for unifying reporting requirements and reducing duplication.
• Design and maintain scoring tools, trackers, and Excel-based scorecards to review applications, measure progress, and monitor outcomes over time.
