About The Position

Position Purpose: The Data Analyst, HR exists to strengthen HR technology, analytics, and data integrity so that HR systems effectively support organizational goals. The role contributes by improving HR processes, ensuring accurate and reliable data through analysis, integration, and migration, and enabling robust reporting and analytics capabilities. By training and upskilling team members in Workday Reporting and partnering with stakeholders to define business needs, the role helps translate data into actionable insights. Ultimately, it empowers HR leaders to make informed, strategic decisions that enhance workforce planning and people outcomes across the organization. This role is a 12 - month, temporary, fixed-term contract.

Requirements

  • A university degree in computer science or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7–10 years of experience leading and supporting data analysis and migration initiatives for cloud-based/SaaS HR system implementations.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in HR Reporting and Analytics, with a strong emphasis on statistical analysis and programming using R and/or Python.
  • Delivers advanced analytics and reporting solutions through strong expertise in Workday Reporting and Power BI.
  • Builds team capability by designing and delivering effective training, knowledge transfer, and practical guidance.
  • Navigates complex, multi-system and multi-entity environments while contributing to high-priority, high-visibility initiatives.
  • Collaborates effectively within Agile delivery teams on large-scale projects from analysis through implementation.
  • Utilizes advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with solid proficiency in Word and PowerPoint to support analysis and communication.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, and continuous learning capabilities in fast-paced, changing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit business, financial, and operational requirements across headquarters, divisions, ministry units, and frontline teams to ensure HR systems meet organizational needs.
  • Develop HR analytics capability by training team members on Workday reporting and creating high-quality, custom reports that support decision-making.
  • Assess HR system integrity through configuration reviews, interface evaluations, and data quality checks to improve reliability and consistency.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to define and recommend system enhancements, integrations, workflows, and release impacts that support digital transformation.
  • Establish reporting governance standards for Workday, including design, access, data integrity, and compliance, to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Consult on system releases and projects by providing insight on downstream impacts, risks, and requirements, and by escalating and resolving system issues as needed.
  • Prepare and execute testing and release management activities, including test plans, source-to-target data mapping, migration audits, and reconciliation reporting.
  • Oversee HR data assurance activities such as gap analysis, data extraction and conversion, validation controls, and integration mapping to ensure end‑to-end data integrity.
