Using higher education’s only aggregated, real-time student data set, we provide insights that are customized to address each partner’s key objectives. We then follow that up with actionable steps they can use to make better, more informed enrollment, marketing, and financial aid decisions. Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, the company serves a rapidly growing number of partners nationwide, helping them navigate the shifting landscape of higher education. Role Overview: As a Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to analyze and derive insights from client marketing and enrollment data. You will play a crucial role in shaping analysis to drive recommendations and complex decision-making. The analysis guides our partners toward the most effective recruitment opportunities to reach their goals and fulfill their mission. You will work closely with our teams of higher education and technology experts to bring analytic insights into action. This role will support analysis for Two Ocean marketing partners. Two Ocean integrates MARKETview intelligence and data into every aspect of marketing programs. Using a highly personalized approach, they provide enrollment marketing that more deeply engages students and parents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least one year of experience in an analytical role.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, or statistical software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights to support decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship for a work visa, both currently and in the future.

  • Higher education or marketing industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data related to higher education marketing programs and enrollment outcomes.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis to improve outcomes.
  • Partner with client success teams to deliver analysis and insights.
  • Develop reporting and automated insights to support internal teams and partners.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to develop new systems for dynamic, automated marketing programs.
