SeaWorld San Antonio is seeking outgoing and enthusiastic Dancers, Puppeteers, and Costumed Characters for the Spring season! Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026 Location: SeaWorld Human Resources Sign-in begins at 10:45am Auditions begin promptly at 11:00am You must be at least 16 years of age and have a parental consent form signed before you can audition Audition information varies based on the type of performer. For example: Dancers - come dressed comfortable to groove and show us your best moves to taught choreography Costumed Characters and Puppeteers - Heights from 4'10 -6'. Come prepared to participate in movement exercises and ice-breaker style games What you get to do: Perform show/act in assigned area according to show schedules. Performs daily warm-up on individual basis to ensure performance without injury. Develops skills/knowledge to maintain excellent quality show/appearance. Follows through on show notes to insure progress in specific areas. Maintain personal appearance by meeting costume and make-up requirements. Assist in general cleaning of specified areas. Assist in the daily operational aspects of assigned show, reporting prop/costume repairs in a timely manner. Works with cast/crew and management to maintain the integrity of the show. Consistently demonstrates courteous and professional behavior in all work aspects with all team members and guests. Works as part of a team to increase productivity while providing excellent guest service. Maintains a professional appearance that meets grooming standards Whether you’re a singer, dancer, actor, or performer, our parks are waiting for you. From thrilling live shows to captivating character interactions, there’s a role for everyone. Actors - Great stage presence and interactive comedic skills that excel at improvisation. Actors perform in multiple high-energy shows per day, on our stages and streets, to connect with our guests and create memories that last a lifetime. Costumed Characters - Personable, animated people with fun, outgoing personalities to bring Sesame Street® characters to life. Share the joy of entertaining children and other guests as a costumed character by greeting guests, shaking hands, posing for pictures, and giving hugs. Costumed character performers also act as a character escort to assist with guest interactions. Dancers - Demonstrate technical proficiency in a variety of styles including jazz, musical theatre, ballet, and modern. Partnering skills, break dancing, tumbling, tap, or other specialties are a plus. Dancers perform in multiple high-energy shows per day to connect with our guests and create memories that last a lifetime. Event Performers - Bring our special and seasonal events to life such as Event Host, Culinary Performers and Santa's Helpers. Instrumentalists - Proficient in percussion, brass, woodwinds or guitar. All instrumentalists should have the ability to play varying styles ranging from pop/rock to Motown to gospel and must be able to memorize music for shows and perform with great stage presence. Scare Squad - Enthusiastic performers, who are passionate about Halloween, to add fun and scary excitement to our award-winning Howl-O-Scream events. Vocalists - Great energy and stage presence who can demonstrate technical proficiency in a variety of styles including pop, rock, musical theatre, classical, contemporary, and a cappella vocal styling. Capacity to hear/sing harmonies is a must. Sight reading skills are not required but are preferred. Vocalists perform in multiple high-energy shows per day to connect with our guests and create memories that last a lifetime.
