About The Position

The Ferryway School Community: The Ferryway School is one of the five K-8 schools in Malden. We are the home of the Ferryway Phoenix and pride ourselves in teaching the whole child through the lenses of equity and belonging. Responsibilities

  • Follows the teacher's written lesson plans.
  • Consults with the principal and/or staff to resolve questions and/or concerns.
  • Complies with all building procedures and schedules.
  • Prepares a written summary of work completed.
  • Makes the absent teacher aware of special situations or problems encountered.
  • Implements effective pupil management procedures.
  • Maintains a positive learning environment.
  • Follows all policies, rules and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
