LS Technologies, LLC, a Tetra Tech company is seeking a Cyress Automation Engineer. As a Cypress Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Cypress. You will collaborate with the test team to identify test cases and to convert manual tests to automated. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality of our developed software products through effective test automation. This position is to support ongoing FAA testing efforts where software is developed in an agile environment and automated testing is crucial for Quality Assurance.

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Cypress
  • Maintain and update existing test scripts and frameworks
  • Execute automated tests and analyze the results
  • Collaborate with developers to identify test cases and ensure thorough testing
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Report and document software defects
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing best practices
  • Continuously research and implement automation testing best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in test automation using Cypress
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
  • Experience with, Cypress, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, CI/CD pipelines, Testing frameworks, Automation testing, Selenium, API testing
  • 2-10 years of experience
