About The Position

JOB TITLE: CYCLE COUNTING CLERK 5 (GSB) RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL TO JOB: Quality: Oversee cycle counting program and the reconciliation of inventories Responsible for researching inventory inaccuracies / cycle count transactions Ability to work with a high level of accuracy that leads to long term solutions dealing with product inventory Oversee steel consignment program for GSB Ability to train others (cycle count / bar code gun) Productivity: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks / responsibilities Ability to respond to requests for information from the shop floor accurately and efficiently Ability to work in a team environment Ability to enter production card information into computer on a timely basis (marginal) Other marginal duties may be assigned Education and/or Experience: Ability to read, write, and do basic math Ability to use a computer (good keyboarding skills, spreadsheets) Previous training with Oracle helpful APICS training helpful Ability to run different production reports from Oracle Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Communication: Ability to communicate in a positive manner with co-workers Ability to work with a variety of different people (Vendors, Receiving, Cycle Counters, Production Leadership, Planners, Shipping) Physical Demands / work Environment Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. (max.) Ability to work in a loud environment Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment Physical ability to climb ladders (marginal)

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and do basic math
