Requirements
- Knowledge of medical records management is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and patient information.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are important.
- Basic math skills necessary for billing and reconciliation tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scan all negotiations, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from mail, and insurance correspondence daily to maintain up-to-date records.
- Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail each day.
- Review and scan daily billing reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform other daily office duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
