The GSC Cybersecurity Center of Excellence position will serve as a key contributor, leader, and influencer within the organization, reporting directly to the GSC Associate Director of Classified Cybersecurity. This role is instrumental in establishing and leading the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE), driving the standardization, maturity, and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations across GSC Cybersecurity. The Cybersecurity CoE will provide operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration to protect Pratt & Whitney’s critical assets, ensure compliance, and support mission-critical objectives.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with 7+ years of experience in Industrial Security or Cybersecurity Experience fields, supporting classified programs and activities; OR Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • IAM Level 3 Certification
  • Active US Government Security Clearance, SECRET level or higher on day one of start date.
  • Ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance with SAP/SCI access.
  • Ability to meet enhanced security requirements to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree, preferably in cybersecurity, computer science, or IT-related field of study.
  • Multiple industry-recognized security or cybersecurity related professional certifications.
  • Current Top Secret-level U.S. government security clearance.
  • 7+ years’ combined experience in hands-on systems administration/engineering and/or cybersecurity support, preferably of information systems supporting classified programs or activities.
  • Significant experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.
  • Significant familiarity with U.S. DoD cybersecurity guidance promulgated through NIST 800-53, and/or JSIG.
  • Experience with Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).
  • Experience assembling and submitting Risk Management Framework packages.
  • Able to resolve numerous difficult and complex problems on a regular basis.
  • Influential communicator capable of driving alignment across diverse stakeholders and functions.
  • High level of accountability, integrity, and professional judgment.
  • Ability to operate effectively and manage competing priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively when required.
  • Resilient and composed under pressure, particularly during incidents, audits, or regulatory scrutiny etc.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead efforts to enhance GSC’s cybersecurity posture, aligning operational practices with GSC’s strategic imperatives and mission.
  • Be the GSC Cybersecurity CORE lead Ensuring consistent implementation of cybersecurity standards and best practices.
  • Travel to various locations to provide on-site support for cybersecurity inspections, ensuring compliance and operational readiness across all facilities.
  • Oversee the collection, maintenance, and analysis of cybersecurity metrics (e.g., ATOs, Operations, and project outcomes) to enable data-driven decisions and improved resource allocation.
  • Guide the development and timely submission of Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages, working with Enclave Senior Managers and ISSMs ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Work closely with Physical Security, Program Security, and Facility Security Officers (FSOs) to seamlessly integrate cybersecurity with broader security disciplines.
  • Establish and lead BU cross organizational synchronization meetings, to build cohesion in solving problems at the tactical level.
  • Primary point of contact for GSC cyber incident response (CIRP), ensuring rapid, coordinated, and effective action to mitigate risks and protect assets, to bolster incident response capabilities by developing training programs and providing guidance for teams, ensuring preparedness to handle emerging cybersecurity threats.
  • Ensure that GSC Cybersecurity is fully prepared for all inspections & assessments, minimizing risks to the business and our customer.
  • Develop and maintain the Basis of Estimate (BOE) and Level of Effort (LOE) for GSC Cybersecurity, the CoE Lead will enable accurate forecasting, budgeting, and resource optimization to support Pratt & Whitney’s cybersecurity objectives.
  • Act as a Sr. ISSM and backup for GSC Cybersecurity as needed.
  • Execute other duties as directed by the Associate Director, Classified Cybersecurity.
