About The Position

The position of Cybersecurity Engineer II includes planning, engineering, installing, configuring, supporting, maintaining, and monitoring of enterprise grade security controls across on‑prem and cloud environments with other members of the IT Operations team. Act as a technical security expert supporting IT and other business teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Information Security, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security fundamentals.
  • Strong experience with security tooling and incident response.
  • Strong ability to explain technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of zero trust architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong experience with security in OT & IoT environments.
  • Ability to stay calm during incidents.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Curiosity and continuous learning mindset.
  • Ability to balance security with business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred CISSP, CISM, CISA, or Security +

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security solutions.
  • Harden systems, networks, and applications using secure configuration standards.
  • Review System Designs and architecture for security risks.
  • Monitor security alerts and investigate suspicious activity.
  • Manage user security awareness training.
  • Respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Design and participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises.
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling.
  • Track security findings and remediation progress.
  • Support penetration testing activities and findings remediation.
  • Implement and maintain least‑privilege access models.
  • Manage MFA, SSO, and role‑based access controls.
  • Review and audit user access regularly.
  • Provide security guidance for projects and system changes.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and procedures.
  • You will be expected to perform in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • You will be responsible for following safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and using good safety judgment. You will be expected to report all unsafe activities and conditions to the Supervisor and/or Safety Representative.
