About The Position

The Cybersecurity internship is designed to give students an opportunity to apply concepts, techniques and knowledge acquired through coursework in the real world by working side-by-side with our cybersecurity professionals. The internship will focus on areas such as identification and analysis of malicious code, forensics analysis, incident handling, and intrusion detection and prevention. This position may be eligible for scholarship funding at the completion of the internship. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. The internship is located onsite or an approved remote location. Hours may vary from 20-25 hours per week dependent on business need and college schedule. The opportunity to work up to 40 hours may be available during school breaks. This opportunity is available now. The exact beginning and ending dates are negotiable.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in a 2 or 4 year undergraduate Cybersecurity or IT program.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
Good communication and organizational skills.
