Ability to solve problems and work with a team to continuously improve production processes and achieve daily production goals. Must maintain quality assurance standards. Must be able to communicate with Supervisor to assist with problem solving. Housekeeping of all areas. Anything else deemed necessary by the supervisor. Level 1: Team member must be able to load and unload material racks, must be able to assist in loading of cutter as required and assist Level 2 Operators as needed. Must be able to follow process to turn cutters on & off. Must consistently achieve quality level of 97% and productions efficiency levels of 80% efficiency within 90-day probationary period; must assume personal responsibility for achieving quality goals and demonstrate continuous improvement towards achieving 100% efficiency on assigned work within 6 months. Level 2: In addition to Level 1 requirements, team member must be able to spread fabrics and stage cuts based upon the requirements of work orders. Must be able to run one of the cutting machines (Single or Multi Cutter). Will be responsible for following production schedule. Must be able to set up machine, go in and out of cutter program for machine adjustment and problem solving, monitor machine condition, and communicate with Supervisor on machine problems. Must be able to organize patches using a patch list and keep track of patch stock. Must consistently achieve quality level of 97% and productions efficiency levels of 95% without refresher training; able to share and demonstrate best practice cutting methods with other cutters. Level 3: In addition to Level 2 requirements, team member must be able to run all cutting equipment. Responsible for verifying quality of fabric, identifying defects in material and reporting defects to supervisor. The employee must be able to follow the correct splicing procedure and will be responsible for fabric count on all cuts. Responsible for verifying quality of fabric, identifying defects in material and reporting defects to supervisor. Must consistently achieve quality level of 97% and productions efficiency levels of 105% without refresher training; able to share and demonstrate best practice cutting methods with other cutters. Cutting Lead: Must have basic knowledge of all job functions within the department and be able to assist in all areas as needed. Must count production work and report to supervisor. Must be able to train new cutting personnel. The Team Lead will communicate with Supervisor to assist with problem solving and offer suggestions for continuous improvement, setup daily workflow and assist department personnel in solving any work in process problems. The Team Lead is responsible for knowing the location of all items within the department and can assist with locating them. The Team Lead is a working leader who fills a production role daily. Must fill in for Supervisor at meetings as needed. Must be able to assist with inventory. Will assist manager in handling daily personnel issues.
