About The Position
Join the experts in precision offshore cutting and machining! Mactech Offshore is looking for mechanically inclined, safety-minded individuals to join our team as an Offshore Cutting Technician. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate and maintain specialized machining and underwater cutting equipment in demanding offshore and industrial environments.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel (domestic & international) up to 60%
- Ability to work long shifts and extended rotations offshore
- Previous hands-on mechanical or technical experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment like flange facers, boring bars, and diamond wire saws offshore and onsite
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical and hydraulic tools
- Troubleshoot systems including electrical, diesel, and hydraulic components
- Support workshop operations including shipping/receiving, cleaning, and fabrication
- Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure safe and efficient job execution
