About The Position

Customer Technical Training Specialist (Maintenance Subject Matter Expert) Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Customer Technical Training Specialist (Mid-Level & Senior) to support the T-7A program in Universal City, TX. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance (SME) with experience as a fighter aircraft mechanic. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deliver innovative technical learning solutions tailored to military aircraft maintainers. This role requires an understanding of complex aircraft maintenance learning objectives, course structure, content, and methodologies. The SME will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective learning solutions to meet customer aircraft maintenance training requirements, instructing advanced training courses, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs based on customer feedback and operational outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience performing aircraft maintenance on USAF, USN or USMC aircraft
  • Experience with United States Air Force and/or United States Navy or Marine Corps
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • Courseware Development experience
  • Maintenance experience on any of the following T-7, F-22, F-35, F/A-18, F-15 and F-16

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and defines customer technical training needs and requirements.
  • Develops technical training proposals.
  • Evaluates and determines training objectives, content, design, and technologies.
  • Uses specialized software technology to research, develop and modify new and existing media and materials.
  • Prepares lesson plans and instructs participants.
  • Researches, develops, delivers, and evaluates effectiveness of standard technical training.
  • Supports developing and documenting training standards and specifications.
