About The Position

As a customer support specialist at Buildertrend, you will help builders stay focused on building by removing friction from their day. This role exists to make complex software feel clear, approachable and useful, especially when customers need help the most. Your work directly impacts how confident customers feel using Buildertrend and how much value they get from the platform. After six to 12 months, success looks like customers who trust your guidance, resolve issues quickly and walk away better equipped to run their business.

Requirements

  • 2+ y ears of customer support experience preferred
  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident problem-solver who stays calm under pressur e
  • Organized and able to manage multiple customer needs at once
  • Comfortable learning new technology and software tools

Responsibilities

  • Support customers through phone, email and live chat with timely , thoughtful responses
  • Resolve product questions and issues by clearly explaining Buildertrend features and best practices
  • Guide customers to their next best action to help them get long-term value from the platform
  • Document customer interactions and solutions accurately in support tools
  • Monitor support queues to ensure inquiries are handled efficiently and consistently
  • Build strong product knowledge to provide reliable, up-to-date guidance
