About The Position

Our team works with more than 44,000 unions and member organizations throughout North America. Many of the individuals we speak with have already asked for information about supplemental benefits, meaning your conversations begin with people who are open to learning more. Because of this, there’s no door-to-door outreach or traditional cold calling. Instead, your focus will be on meeting with interested members, answering their questions, and guiding them through the options available to them. The role offers a balance of independence and structure. You’ll manage your own time and schedule while benefiting from an established system, experienced mentors, and a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and listening abilities
  • A genuine desire to help people make informed decisions
  • Comfort using digital tools such as video meetings and online platforms
  • Self-discipline and strong organizational habits
  • The ability to set goals and manage your own workflow
  • Eligibility to pass a standard background check
  • No industry background is required — comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with union members through virtual meetings or occasional in-person appointments to discuss available programs.
  • Explain benefit options clearly so families understand how their coverage works.
  • Help individuals choose solutions that align with their personal and financial needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up with members to ensure a positive experience.
  • Continue improving your skills through training, mentorship, and leadership development programs.
