We are looking for a Full Time, Customer Services Support Generalist to join our Patient Financial Services Team! Located in northwest Arizona, Kingman has a mild climate with stunning Arizona sunsets! Requirements

  • General knowledge of office procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills through both telephone and face to face contact
  • Ability to organize and sort daily workload

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year health insurance knowledge
  • Some Office/Hospital setting experience

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and assist patients with questions or concerns with their accounts, explain charges and answer other related inquiries from patients.
  • Responsible for the individual day end deposit as well being responsible for the reconciliation process.
  • Refers patients/families to other departments for information or assistance.
  • Processes reoccurring payments/authorizations–nets for self-pay accounts monthly.
  • Reviews Financial Assistance Program (FAP) documentation that patient brings in to ensure that all required documents are provided.
  • Works with Financial Counselors to support them in the clerical aspect of their job: write/send letter of approval to patient, scan into applicable system the approval letter and other necessary documentation, works the RC report on a weekly basis to assist the Financial Counselors in process accounts to collections.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients’ accounts for legal this consists of printing COAs and other documentation needed by outside collection agency.
