About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Remains friendly and courteous with all customer interactions. Follows performance standards as written. Talks with customers in person and assists customers in returning or exchanging products. Obtains merchandise requested by customer and places merchandise in a bag or box. Assists customer in carrying out larger items to their vehicle. Answers customer's questions and offers assistance or direction. General housekeeping as necessary including cleaning shelves, counters, and displays or other store areas. Greets customers when they enter the store, checks packages and receipts, thanks customers when exiting the store. Issues change, receipts, or refunds. Handles cash, credit, or check transactions. Promotes Summit Speed Card and processes applications. Balances cash drawer and completes closeout process at the end of each shift. Answers incoming telephone calls. Performs inventory related tasks as assigned including stocking shelves, pricing merchandise, counting merchandise, reconciling returns, and general merchandising tasks. Promotes in-store specials Other duties may be assigned by management. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years customer service or sales-related experience and/or training. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years customer service or sales-related experience and/or training.
