The Customer Service Specialist, Scheduling serves as a central hub for outpatient radiology and diagnostic scheduling and is often the first point of contact for patients. This role plays an important part in ensuring a smooth, accurate, and timely scheduling experience while supporting coordination of care across multiple service areas. This position works closely with external providers as well as internal providers, technologists, nurses, and other hospital departments to ensure scheduling accuracy and efficient daily operations. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential for success in this role. This is a non-patient facing position that is primarily phone and computer based, with limited in person interaction. The workday is fast paced, with high call volume and frequent schedule changes.
